Ivy Tech Community College Southwest announces today that they will hold their semi-annual Wellness Fair on Wednesday, April 8th, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Ivy Tech’s main campus located at 3501 N. First Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.

The Wellness Fair will showcase booths from over 45 area vendors including Gilda’s Club, Walgreens, Chick-Fil-A, Evansville Tri-State Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, Deaconess Hospital, St. Mary’s Health System, Active Chiropractic, B Renewed Wellness Center, YMCA, American Cancer Society, Smokefree Communities, Pregnancy Resource Center, Seton Harvest, Vision Care Center, Rise Up and Run Productions, and many more. There will also be free blood pressure screenings, chair massages, and cholesterol screenings.
The Fair will also feature a presentation, Beer Pong Madness: A Look at Alcohol’s Role in College Life, presented by Dr. James Macke of Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare as part of Alcohol Awareness Month. The presentation will be held at 12:15 p.m. in Ivy Tech’s Vectren Auditorium.
