IS IT TRUE that Federal law has forced nearly 122,000 disabled veterans in the last 12 years to return payouts (some totaling tens of thousands of dollars}  …that they were forced to leave the military when it needed to downsize, according to new data obtained by NBC News? ….that the statistics come amid renewed calls to change the little-known law, which prohibits veterans from receiving both disability and special separation pay, which are one-time, lump-sum incentives offered to service members when the U.S. had to reduce its active-duty force?

IS IT TRUE that the City of Evansville employs over 1,200 people? …that a full-time city employee played golf on numerous occasions last year while on the City work clock?  ..that that this employee was given a 5.8% proforma raise?  …that when certain city employees mess up they move up?

IS IT TRUE that Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry has participated in two Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiatives since taking office in January? …that she has traveled to Harvard University for the sessions on how to be a better Mayor?  …that we’re told that the expenses were paid by liberal millionaire Michael Bloomberg?

IS IT TRUE that Lloyd Winnecke developed this year’s city budget and included a $10,000 mayoral travel budget for his successor?   …that we are interested in the mayor’s official travel expenses that will total $17,500 in 2024? …that we made a “Freedom Information Request” through the mayor’s office for documentation of all travel funds spent by the mayor to date> …that a reasonable period has passed and no travel documentation has been provided? …that citizens have the right to know how elected officials are spending our taxpayer dollars?
