IS IT TRUE improving educational outcomes in our district’s low socioeconomic schools is a major problem that an individual teacher can accomplish alone? These lower-performing schools will only improve when PARENTS and FAMILIES, COMMUNITY LEADERS, LAW ENFORCEMENT, NON PROFITS, and LOCAL BUSINESSES commit the necessary resources to our children both before, after, and during the school day. The individual teacher’s efforts and money allocated will not correct the issues many of our current youth are facing outside of the school day. It will truly take a village to progress in our most challenging yet most opportunistic school zones.
