IS IT TRUE that several states, including Republican states, have decided to raise taxes this year to cover budget shortfalls?…a new study suggests that the states might find themselves in worse financial shape after the money starts rolling in?…according to the latest ranking of states by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, the most fiscally sound states in the nation are all low-tax, GOP strongholds, while the 10 least-solvent states are almost all high-tax and heavily Democratic?…the rankings in the fourth-annual “Ranking of the States by Fiscal Condition” report, which was released this morning, are based on a review of audited financial statements for 2015 covering five measures that gauge the states’ ability to pay bills, avoid budget deficits, and meet long-term spending needs and cover pension liabilities?…the ten best states when it comes to fiscal management are in order Florida, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Idaho and Montana?…the economic basket cases from worst to 41st are as follows: New Jersey, Illinois, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, California, West Virginia, and New Mexico?…all of the best 10 are solidly Republican while three of the basket cases voted Trump and are now dominated by Republicans after a history of being run by Democrats?
 
IS IT TRUE the Vanderburgh County Republican Party has relieved County Commissioner Cheryl Musgrave and her husband Bob from playing a role in the party as precinct committee leaders?…this all stems from the fact that Bob Musgrave donated $500 to the Riecken for Mayor campaign?…it seems as there is no place in the leadership of the Vanderburgh County Republican Party for anyone who donated to a candidate who is not a Republican?…while we understand the high school antics of political parties forcing their leadership to toe the line, it is actions like this that drive the tribalism that is ripping the country apart?…Commissioner Musgrave was cited by Wayne Parke as being intelligent, hardworking, and willing to fight against the tide?…fighting against the tide is a badge of honor and a testament of courage in a country that is torn apart by mindless drones choosing to support the red team or the blue team without questioning anything?…the tide is the problem and independent thinkers like Cheryl Musgrave are needed to challenge the status quo?…the Vanderburgh County Republican Party missed a golden opportunity to have a show of competence by ostracizing the Musgraves from party leadership?
IS IT TRUE that a report, from SafeWise, a home security service, puts Evansville near the bottom of the list of safe cities in the State of Indiana?…specifically out of 97 cities in Indiana with #1 being the safest and #97 being the most dangerous the little old Evansville ranked #92 which 9 slots below the long time violent rat hole called Gary, Indiana which ranked #83?…Jasper on the other hand ranked #10 taking the safety award for Southwest Indiana?…the data does raise some questions though since Gary recorded 50 murders in 2015 while Evansville only had 4?…there must be a heck of a lot of battery and other violent crimes in Evansville to make up for that much of a murder difference?…SafeWise stands by their analysis and cites official FBI statistics as it’s source?
IS IT TRUE that CCO Blogger Bill Hazelip recently posted “If you get the Courier, read page 6 of today’s paper 6-28-17.  While you are reading the story remember too that the City of Evansville just spent 16 million dollars on improving North Main as a future Business mecca.”  …he also posted “Unfortunately, the planners of this Mecca forgot to look at the demographics.  The often high crime rate of the near South side of town, has gradually shifted to the North side of downtown.  Legitimate business like “Lucky Lounge, Peep Hole Movies, and others will now see an increase in crime!  This area, which will be ripe for crime,  will now require permanent police surveillance, so the cost  of this project will continue for many years”!

Definitely not a fan of Mr. Parke and starting to doubt Ms. Musgrave after the Burdette Park fiasco, but having once been a precinct committeeman, I was fully aware of the rules about donating to an opposition party candidate. If you are truly wanting a two party political system, you must support the party’s clearly defined rules for it’s leadership. The Musgraves have not and the chairman would be remiss if he didn’t either.

  2. We saw what party disloyalty did when the Demo Central Committee and many elected Demos infamously back-stabbed Rick Davis and publicly supported his Mayoral opponent. The Demos have never recovered from their treasonous party disloyalty. Regardless of what you think about Parke, he did what he had to do as party Chairman.

    In order to understand what was really going on, one needs to do his research on a recently ex-pat American named Bill Browder, who’s grandfather was a communist activist. Browder would like you to believe that it was the mean old Russian regime that was responsible for the Russian reporter’s death in order to protect the Russian officials involved, but those Russian officials could not protect themselves without also protecting others involved, like Bill Browder, who is well connected in Washington D.C. I would be willing to bet that the Clintons have more than a passng relationship with Bill Browder, who btw has a net worth of over $4. Billion.

I don’t give a damn if he “colluded with the freaking Russian government” to change the election, and make sure he won. As long as a white man won, who cares? Our guy is President, he cares about the white race, and sees we deserve this. Help the Russians even more, I say. I like a white leader, one of us, running the country.   8. The fake news media’s action plan is to keep dishing out the fake news so the Trump administration does not go on the offensive against the criminal Clinton enterprises. I do not know why President Trump is waiting to launch the needed investigations that will expose who the real culprits are, except for the fact that exposing the Clintons will open a can of worms, concerning shady Russian investments and tax dodging, that some very high placed individuals, on both sides of the isle in Washington, would not want exposed. I believe that is why the Russian reporter was murdered, and I believe that Bill Browder, who is trying to cover his behind, s very much involved in the mess. At least that is my take from what I have read. It seems a little too convenient that Browder is out of the country and no longer an American citizen.
