Indianapolis, IN — Abby Weingardt, State Chair of the Indiana Federation of Young Republicans (IFYR) announced today that the IFYR will be hosting a leadership luncheon series throughout the 2016 election cycle.
These luncheons, titled the LEAP Series, will focus on bringing community Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Activists and Politicians into a setting where young professionals can hear their stories and talk with them in relaxed environment. The series will be free to attend for Young Republicans.Â
“Time and time again we are told that we are the future of our Party and to not be afraid to get in the fight and run for office – or help someone who is. But where do you start? Getting access to the leaders in our community and making time to effectively learn from them can be a challenge,” said Weingardt. “The IFYR is launching the LEAP Series in hopes that it can serve as a forum that encourages and fosters relationships and opportunities for learning for the next generation of community leaders. One hour each month to inspire our Young Leaders.”
The first speaker for the LEAP Series will be Indiana Speaker of the House Brian Bosma.
