INDIANAPOLIS (November 4, 2021) – The Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission announced that it will allow the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday, November 7, 2021, to continue until 3:00 a.m.
Because Daylight Savings Time changes clocks to 1:00 a.m. at 2:00 a.m. on November 7, alcoholic beverage outlets will have one additional hour during which they may serve or sell alcoholic beverages on this date. Pursuant to Indiana law, they must cease sales at 3:00 a.m.
ABOUT INDIANA ATC
The Indiana Alcoholic Beverage Commission was created by an act of the Indiana General Assembly in 1933 following the repeal of Prohibition. Effective July 1, 2001, the name was changed to the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission (ATC). The ATC is composed of four members appointed by Governor Eric J. Holcomb and houses the Indiana State Excise Police, who are responsible for enforcing state laws related to alcoholic beverages and the rules of the ATC.
