inaugural River City Wiffle Ball Classic To Benefit ECHO Housing Corporation And Aurora Please join us at Historic Bosse Field (23 Don Mattingly Way Evansville, Indiana 47711) on Saturday, August 13 for the inaugural River City Wiffle Ball Classic to benefit ECHO Housing Corporation and Aurora. The event begins at 8:10 a.m. with a welcoming ceremony followed by the first games starting at 8:30 a.m. Thirty-two teams and 160 players will be vying for the coveted traveling trophy as they help “Strike Out Homelessness†in our community. The Fifth Third All-Star Celebrity Game is at 10:45 a.m. The Homes by Huffman Home Run Derby starts at 2:00 p.m. Anyone can pay to play in the Home Run Derby from 2-5 p.m. The Moore Music Championship Game is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. In addition, there will be family activities throughout the day, including the Hadi Shrine Funsters, Kona Ice, Inflatables, a FREE Kids Field sponsored by Harding Shymanski, and a FREE Pick-Up Game Field for adults. The public is invited to attend. Admission is free. |
