WHO: USI incoming freshmen and USI student-athletes
WHAT: The incoming Class of 2026 will be introduced to USI athletic teams and administrators and will engage in USI spirit-related activities. Students will also be meeting on The Quad following the event to take the annual Class Photo.
WHEN: The event will be from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The best time to get coverage of the Pride & Spirit Event would be from 11:40 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Students will head to The Quad for the Class Photo directly following the Pride & Spirit Event at 12:15 p.m.
WHERE: Media should meet in the Screaming Eagles Arena lobby (enter next to the USI Ticket Office window). Once in the Arena, John Farless, Director of University Communications, will be there to direct you to a spot on the Screaming Eagles Arena court. A map of the USI campus, featuring the Screaming Eagles Arena, can be found at USI.edu/map.
If you would like to get coverage of the Class Photo on The Quad, you should meet there after the Pride & Spirit Event. A map of the USI campus, featuring The Quad, can be found at USI.edu/map.
