Opportunities include horse adoption, horse leasing, horse sponsorships, volunteering, etc. Activities include pony rides, silent auction and fun activities for the kids.

Take Hwy 41 to Volkman Rd (about 1.5 miles south of I-64), turn onto Volkman Road, then turn left onto Old State Road (4-way stop). We’re about half a mile on the right.
Horses are very expensive to provide care, especially when most of them need a little something ‘extra’. A Hoof and A Prayer Horse Rescue receives no public funding and the fees charged don’t cover the cost of caring for abandoned or discarded horses.

A Hoof and A Prayer Horse Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization located on the North side of Evansville, Indiana. We rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home horses from all walks of life, through proper care, compassion, and education. We offer horse adoptions, leasing, lessons, training, boarding, summer camps, and our very own tack shop on-site. We also have several volunteer opportunities.
