 On April 11, around 7:30 p.m., the Evansville Police Department was called to a local hospital in reference to a gunshot victim who had just arrived to the Emergency Room.Â
The victim had multiple non-life threatening wounds to his right leg. When he arrived, he was conscious and alert.Â
The victim said he was walking in the area of Linwood and Adams when a car pulled up beside him, shot him in the leg, and drove off. He went on to say that after being shot another person pulled up to him and transported him to the hospital. The victim was unable to give the authorities many details on who the suspect or the Good Samaritan was.Â
Officers were sent to the area of the shooting, but were unable to find evidence that a shooting took place there. They then canvassed the neighborhoods and nobody heard any gunshots in the area around the time of the alleged shooting.Â
