| INDIANAPOLIS—The Governor’s Public Health Commission will discuss the integration of childhood and adolescent health services during its next meeting Thursday, Feb. 17.
The meeting will run from 1 to 3 p.m. in the History Reference Room (Room 211) of the Indiana State Library, 315 W. Ohio St., in Indianapolis. Proceedings will be live-streamed and available online at https://www.youtube.com/c/IndianaDepartmentofHealth.Â
Governor Eric J. Holcomb established the 15-member commission in August to study Indiana’s public health system and make recommendations for improvements. The commission is co-chaired by former State Health Commissioner Dr. Judy Monroe, who now serves as president and CEO of the CDC Foundation, and former state Sen. Luke Kenley. Current State Health Commissioner Kris Box, M.D., FACOG, serves as secretary, while former Congresswoman Susan Brooks serves as a non-voting citizen advisor.
In addition to childhood and adolescent health services, the commission’s work is focusing on areas including funding, emergency preparedness, governance and structure, workforce, and data and information.
