Gov. Eric J. Holcomb offered the following statement regarding the passage of HEA 1007, which approves nine additional drug addiction treatment programs—increasing the total number of locations around the state from 18 to 27:
“Signing this bill into law will expand access to treatment for those struggling with opioid addiction, adding nine more treatment locations across the state. I commend lawmakers for advancing this legislation that ensures nearly all Hoosiers can find the help they need within an hour’s drive from their homes.â€
