Last night at the Democratic National Convention, Joe Biden accepted the nomination for President of the United States. Locally, we are working hard to make Joe the next President of the United States. We have JOE-mentum to win key state and local races from the Convention right here in Vanderburgh County. We need to support candidates who fight for working families, believe in science, and will protect our democracy.Getting Joe Biden elected to the Presidency is of the utmost importance, but it’s not the only office that matters. One thing that has become increasingly clear to so many of us is the importance of LOCAL elected officials, and how who they are and what they believe in can profoundly affect our quality of life, including access to health care. Whether it is City Council, local school boards, or County Council, we need to support Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.
