Indiana is celebrating its 200th birthday with various events around the state.

One of the most exciting parts of the celebrations is the Bicentennial Torch Relay.

The torch relay kicked off in Corydon, the state’s first capital, and will end at the Statehouse on
Oct. 15. The torch is being carried by walkers, runners and bearers using various modes of transportation showcasing Indiana’s heritage — like race cars and farm equipment.
The torch recently passed through Posey and Vanderburgh counties with the help of local torchbearers. In case you missed the events, click here to view pictures and watch a video.
