EXPLORE EVANSVILLE ANNOUNCES NEW TEAM MEMBERS

 Evansville, IN – January 3, 2024 – Explore Evansville, the official sales and marketing agency for tourism in Evansville and Vanderburgh County, has announced the addition of two senior leadership professionals to its team.  Kate Reibel and Aaron King joined the staff at Explore Evansville in late 2023 and will play key roles in driving the company’s growth and success.

Kate Reibel joins Explore Evansville as the Director of Marketing and Development and will oversee, coordinate and develop marketing strategies and communications to raise awareness for the organization.  Additionally, she will draw from her vast experience in the nonprofit sector to identify grants and sponsorship opportunities to further the company’s mission.  Before her appointment at Explore Evansville, Reibel served as Executive Director of the Public Education Foundation and spent 15 years in marketing roles with local companies, including Deaconess Health System, Gray Loon Marketing Group, and The Barefoot Cottage.

Aaron King joins Explore Evansville as the Assistant Director of Sports Development.  In this role, King will focus on the recruitment of sporting events and athletic tournaments to the area as well as enhancing sports-related initiatives.  Most recently, King served as the Assistant Director of Championships and Alliances with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), where he oversaw the planning and execution of several NCAA championship tournaments.  Additionally, his extensive background includes event management roles for Conference USA (C-USA), Southeastern Conference (SEC), Ohio Valley Conference (OVC), Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), and Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) athletic tournaments.
