The Evansville Wartime Museum opened its doors in May of last year to help tell the story of the community’s involvement in World War II.
Manufacturing in the Evansville area was essential during the war, with nearby factories creating products the military needed for fighting on land, sea and air. The museum displays these products, explains how they were made and describes their importance in winning the war.
Galleries in the museum also tell the stories of brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our freedom.
