  1. Ordinance G-2023-05 Lets put the City Council in control of massive projects in Wesselman Park such as a 24 court Pickleball project under control of elected citizens (City Council) not appointee’s (Mayor Winnecke’s 3 appointed Board of Park Commissioners- who have a majority). Ask the Council to pass this ordinance Monday March 20, 2023

  2. Follow up: I attended the meeting – The project has been delayed. The City Council will “finally” get a full presentation of the pickleball project April 4 – 2:30 pm from the Parks Dept. before they vote on the Weaver/Mosby ordinance to oversee all matters involving Wesselman Park. There was no rebuttal from the city attorney(s) as rot he legality of the ordinance. The project will finally be brought into the light of day. Public comments after the presentation, then they vote. The City attorney did confirm the City will not proceed with the project until the Council has done its work. Verifying the Council ordinance is legal.
