The Evansville Police Department will be holding a ceremony Monday, January 27th at 1:00pm. The ceremony will be held at The Centre in Ballroom “A”.
The ceremony will welcome 8 new Officers. They are:
Matthew Taylor
Bryan Schmitt
Nathan Jones
Ahmed Affifi
Mario Reid
Ray Smith Jr
John Porter Jr
Herbert Adams
During the ceremony, Chief Billy Bolin will also present 14 Officers with Merit Awards for their actions during incidents in 2013.
Detective John Cox will be promoted to the rank of Corporal.
The ceremony is open to the public.
