An information session is planned for the EVSC’s Early College High School on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Ivy Tech Community College at 10a.m. in Rooms 101 and 102. These sessions target this year’s eighth grade class – next year’s freshmen – at any school in the area. Partners include Ivy Tech, Vincennes University and the University of Evansville.
Students in Early College can earn up to 60 hours of college credit while simultaneously earning their high school diploma. Students will spend part of their school day at Ivy Tech’s campus and part at their home high school. During the junior year, students will choose degree pathways offered by Vincennes University and Ivy Tech. Students also may enroll in select courses at the University of Evansville.
