The college financing company says it will add nearly 280 jobs over the next 18 months. Sallie Mae recently moved from a nearby office to three floors of a Woodfield Crossing location on the city’s northeast side. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says the average salaries of the new positions will be 25 percent higher than the state average.
