Eagles lose home contest to UMSL, 7-0

University of Southern Indiana Women’s Tennis suffered a 7-0 setback to the University of Missouri St. Louis (4-1) Saturday afternoon at the Evansville Tennis Courts.

After losing the point in doubles competition, the Screaming Eagles suffered straight-set losses in all singles matches. Freshman Lauren Rowe did manage to battle in the second set of the No. 1 singles picking up five games ultimately dropping the set, 7-5.

The Eagles (3-5) return to action Friday when they host Lindenwood University at Wesselman Park to officially open Great Lakes Valley Conference play in a 2 p.m. match.
