University of Southern Indiana Women’s Tennis (3-9, 3-3 GLVC) dropped their Great Lakes Valley Conference match this afternoon to the University of McKendree (5-5, 3-5 GLVC), 5-2 at Triad High School.
DOUBLES: The Bearcats came out and swept all three of the doubles matches leaving all Screaming Eagles’ points to come in singles play.
SINGLES: Eagles did secure two points as a team, the first was thanks to freshman Rachel McCorkle who won the No. 2 straight-sets.
Also, sophomore teammate Jasmine Shireman picked up a victory in the No. 6 ultimately prevailing in a super tiebreaker set, 10-4.
Up Next: The Eagles will travel to Springfield, Illinois to take on University of Illinois Springfield April 17 for another road GLVC match.
