University of Southern Indiana Women’s Tennis (3-7) stumbled against Maryville University (5-1), 6-1 in another home Great Lakes Valley Conference match Saturday evening at Wesselman Park.
DOUBLES:Â The Screaming Eagles got a doubles victory in the No. 2 match from the senior/sophomore pairing of Lauryn Thompson and Chloe McIsaac as they topped their opponents, 6-4.
Eagles unfortunately would go on to drop the other doubles matches, surrendering the doubles point to the Saints.
SINGLES:Â Five of the six singles matches went in straight-sets in favor of Maryville.
Freshman Rowe her singles record to 6-4 on the season with a No. 1 straight-sets singles victory, 6-2, 7-5.
