Drake Tops UE Tennis 4-0

 The University of Evansville Women’s Tennis Team (8-15, 0-4) played host to the Drake University Bulldogs on Saturday.  Drake took the victory over the Aces by a score of 4-0.  The match marks the fourth conference loss for the Aces.  They will look to snap that streak tomorrow against UNI.

In the match the Aces were ahead at flight three doubles by a score of 4-2 but the match went unfinished due to the Bulldogs locking up the doubles point when they got victories at both flight one and two doubles.  In singles play, three matches went unfinished and a match was retired.  This secured the match for the Bulldogs.

The Aces will wrap up their home schedule tomorrow when they play host to UNI.  The match will be senior day for the Aces and the lone senior, Marina Moreno, will be honored prior to the match.  The match is slated for 10:00 a.m. CST start time.  The match will be played at the Harrison High School Tennis Courts.
