Deaconess Hospital was once again named one of the top 100 greatest places to work in healthcare according to the May issue of Becker’s Hospital Review*. Each year, Becker’s Hospital Review and Becker’s ASC Review develop their top 100 list through nominations and editorial research. Criteria for recognition included:

What about places to die. How does it rank there?
My guess is a battlefield probably ranks much higher
Just saw this poor woman in OK on tv. She was protecting her students and was impaled by a big piece of metal during the tornado. She was describing that she was put in a pickup and taken to a hospital that her insurance apparently won’t pay for. That’s the face of our greedy healthcare system. In a panic situation like that the last thing you should have to worry about is who should be getting filthy rich off your $150,000 2 day hospital stay. When the dirty dollar rules everything that really says something about a society.
