  1. Today, POLITICO, October 7, 2015:
“With the rest of the House Republican Conference in a state of turmoil and the Tea Party Caucus still unable to perform on it’s claims of takeover, John Boehner’s #2, Kevin McCarthy, is projecting a sunny sense of confidence going into his first battle for Speaker of the House. More than 200 Republicans have committed to supporting him for speaker, according to multiple sources familiar with his operation. It far surpasses the simple majority of House Republicans he needs to win Thursday’s internal GOP vote but is still a bit shy of the 218 he needs on the House floor to become the next speaker. His team is exceedingly optimistic he’ll gather the requisite support before the Oct. 29 public vote.”

More of the same. The Tea Party might as well form a third-party. The problem is:
    1. They have no ideas other than being mad.
    2. They have had no success on any policy.
    3. They are disorganized.
    4. They get no respect.
    5. They are only happy if they can hold their gun in their hand.

Many people say they are the same as the Republican Party.
And that might be true. But people in the GOP can read.

    • …ha! You’re hilarious BP. Do you write ANYTHING other than “it’s raining, and it’s all that owebama’s fault?”
McCarthy’s win is in the headlines today. If anything, it’s the Tea Party loses again…is so common, I understand why you feel it’s the same every day. It is! The Tea Party crazies are being dominated by the GOP Establishment, again.
C’mon BP, you’re not keeping up with your own “same insane rant.”
      Post “owebama” again!!!

      • Your candidate jebby is polling at 1% or less. Trump still dominates and let’s see…
        America hasn’t elected a socialist president since… 2012?

        • Yep. Long road…he should stay in. This thing’s gonna turn as people are soon going to say, “Well, we need to plan to win, not just holler about how mad we are.” And when it does, the electorate is gonna say, “Who can best manage things going forward.” And the guy they’ll turn to will be Jeb or Chris Christie. Both manager types. Rubio has a shot, but he’s showing everyone how young he is…he has a future maybe, but he needs to serve a while. Obama had the same qualities as Rubio, except (admittedly), he’s smarter and was patient on the road cause he understood the big picture. Rubio cares what people think, and he reacts cause he’s young. Obama doesn’t care if people criticize him.

          • owebama has no positive, America first type qualities. He is doing exactly what he said he would: “Fundamentally change America.”
Think about this: No one wants to fundamentally change something they love.
