I’m traveling and just became aware jack scribes lied to investigators about his military service claiming he not only served in Vietnam nam but that he was shot while there. Police were investigating another crime and said there was no crime in scribers claim. Scribers did serve as a clerk in Germany, never serving in Vietnam nam much less being shot. No crime? What about. Stolen valor, stolen honor?
“I’ve seen kids get out of cars and run across the street (to the Ford Center) using grandma’s parking tag,” Rector said. “Every game I see it. And then, you have folks that truly need those spaces.”
Rector may need to rethink what he said and figure out what he was seeing. Those kids were dropping grandmaw off at the door and then going to park her car for her so that after the show she would not have to walk so far back to grandmaw’s car.
My mom is disabled and I drive her to the grocery store and doctor’s office all the time. I use her handicapped sticker to park closer so that she doen’t have to walk so far back to the car after she sees her doctor. And of course I drop her off at the front nearest door to the Deaconess Clinic so that she doesn’t have to walk so far. She is in constant pain due to degenerative disks in her spine so she needs all the help she can get. Shame on David Rector for thinking that those kids are abusing the system when they may not be doing that. Maybe he should walk a mile in my mom’s shoes and see what it’s really like to be disabled and have to depend on the kids for a ride to the clinic or a sporting event or concert. Not all those kids are abusing the system as David Claims. What a cynic he is and unjustly so. Not all of what you see is what you think you saw.
