The southern star flag is not the confederate flag but has come to represent southern pride. Everyone from the Dukes of Hazard to Clinton and Gore have used it to self identify as “sons of the South. Yes, some racist have used it, but they have also used the Stars and Bars. The National flag strictly identifies one with the bigotry and violence of Hitler not as a Son of Germany.
Through the help of those who have chosen to focus on the object rather than the person, Roof has played the left and succeeded in his objective box stirring racial unrest.
America moves on, with or without those who would champion a flag emblematic of a war fought in the support of slavery.
I see where the City is going to have another group breaking ceremony right before the city elections this fall. It figures that they would make this med school POLITICAL. They don’t even have the buildings designed yet. But the Mayor must be desperate for some good news.
I noticed in the drawings that were shown in a picture in the Courier and Press Paper today that the Yellow lines around the pictures shows the medical school right over the top of the present Deaconess Clinic and it’s parking lot. Also I noticed that Sixth street is cut off by the Deaconess Clinic and the old Hospital downtown. So it’s Chestnut Street. That is the problem with this city. A lot of the city streets are cut off right in the middle of the block by a building. That is one of the main reasons I hate trying to drive down town. One way streets don’t help the situation. Traffic patterns are awful in the downtown. Even Main street of all places have the Civic Center right in the middle of the street cutting off North Main Street properties from South West Main Street Properties. Helter skelter must have been the traffic engineer when they designed the Civic Center and the Welborn Hospital and Clinic back in the days.
I wonder if Winny will rent another tractor and haul in some more sand to place on the Car Lot for this Political Ground breaking ceremony that’s surely to come right before the city votes in the November Election of 2015.
Oh, and by the way, some on the left are going to try and ban the movie ‘Gone With the Wind.” What are you going to want to ban (burn) next, books? The American left is absolutely insane.
