Looks like the Rulers of Evansville are going to Punish the County Residents for whacking their ass on Consolidation via a “Make-um pay” Sewer strangle hold. Maybe it’s now time for a takeover of control of Evansville by the County via a revamped Merger plan. They could call the “Thug Smackdown Plan”.
Just about everybody I know would buy a “Ticket” to see it happen.
And the printed newspaper is fanning the flames. Why is the cost to rural sewer/water utility customers more now than it was before consolidation was defeated? Has the location of the utilities moved? C&P says the rationale to charging a higher rate to rural users is they live further from those facilities. Why doesn’t Vectren, TimeWarner, AT&T and others charge a higher rate for rural users? Now Bruce Ungethiem is being targeted for bringing this issue up.
14 News has a story of a child finding Gun shell casings near his home and of his being stuck by a needle he also found near his home.
14 News calls it the Southeast Side,– it’s at Gun and Evans,– Gum is 5 blocks NORTH of Washington Ave. and Evans is several blocks WEST of Kentucky Ave.– No way is this area the Southeast. That’s Ridiculous.
WEST of Kentucky Ave. is now East? East of What? The River?
This is actually very close to the Boy’s and Girl’s Club location.
The Media Spin continues to try to avoid, or correctly attribute, the descent into Crime in the real area. The Child’s Family states their child is being tested due to being injured by the needle, and they are moving away from their home as soon as possible.
Crash; You are correct, that’s old downtown as it gets! Southeast side is a bit of a stretch for sure. Media foo, foo dust affect is what’s observed from afar. That’s why nothing will change there, no one can face the facts and set in on the real problems offered for a families well being index.
