Ellis park is opening today. It is one of the few destination things locally that attracts out of town visitors. It is unfortunately in a odd location that keeps it from being a part of Evansville or Henderson. It does not cost a penny to go there. It provides some of the best people and horse watching around. So I invite everyone to come out and support our local race track.
I go once a year which seems to guarantee them a profit for the rest of the season……
I wondered why Turtle Man didn’t have a new season this year. Now I know:
