To those who have to work, you have my sympathy. For us that are retired,–The Greedy Gas Barons can shove their Gas Gouging where the Sun doesn’t Shine, We are hunkering down for a “Gasoline Winter” around my house , staying home , eating out of the freezer for a while , not eating out, looking at the list of things around the house that have been put off for various reasons,–put off mainly because I’m a bit more laid back at my age now. Reading those books that have been beside the bed too long, and just plain sitting outside these evenings. Haven’t backed the car out of the driveway for a while now, don’t intend to, unless it’s something like a Doctor visit. Haircut off for another week or so, who is going to notice? Early to bed, Early to rise, taking the Dog and myself for more walks–actually I guess I should thank the Greedy Gas Baron’s for the restructuring of my priorities and the self-improvement that has followed. but I’d rather shout to –Those Greedy Creeps–Shove it!
