Crowd Gathers to Welcome Injured Officer Home

0

Evansville Police Officer Jordan Rundle is home! He was seriously injured in an off-duty car accident in December and has been in a Nashville hospital for treatment. Much to the joy of his family and the supporters who call themselves “Team Jordan,” he was released on Tuesday afternoon.

Supporters gathered in the parking lot of First Southern Baptist Church to welcome Rundle back home. As the car he rode in passed by the crowd, he smiled and waved from the backseat.

Rundle will continue with outpatient therapy from home.

Members of Team Jordan attributed his recovery to the “power of prayer.”
