VenuWorks of Evansville, the firm that manages the Ford Center & Victory Theatre, surprised Craig Simmons as he was the two millionth customer to walk into Ford Center at today’s first performance of Monster Jam. The facility opened its doors 4 1â„2 years ago in November of 2011 and now has entertained over Two Million people. According to Executive Director Scott Schoenike, “It seems like just yesterday we were opening Ford Center’s doors for the first time, and today we are celebrating our two millionth customer.†Craig was awarded a large Ford Center commemorative ticket, a customized Ford Center photo chair, four (4) season tickets to the new Evansville Thunderbolts hockey games for the 2016-2017 season, Four (4) season tickets to the Men’s Purple Aces basketball games for the 2016-2017 season, provided by VenuWorks, Two dozen Just Rennie’s cookies, provided by Just Rennie’s and a large merchandise package from Monster Jam, provided by Feld Entertainment.
Schoenike also stated that the economic impact for Evansville has been calculated to almost 150 million dollars over the past 4 1â„2 years. Ford Center continues to play a vital role in increasing the quality of life and it’s as important to VenuWorks mission as Evansville’s economic impact.
