  1. Hopefully, Chairman Weaver and others on the Council will be requesting the make-up of the partnership, i.e. who will be the partners and their financial position. As we recall, back in 2007, the City issued $20,000,000 of Revenue bonds whereby Berry Plastics acquired manufacturing equipment. The source of repayment was the Jacobsville TIF redirecting property tax payment by Berry to the bond payment. Of course, Berry is a publicly-traded entity. Perhaps the partners are publicly-traded. Should be disclosed prior to any vote and of course, a private prospectus might be requested?

  2. Maybe requesting who’s the trustee behind the Opportunity Fund would be in order as well? Wonder why the Rothbone project which is in the Art District TIF and located in an Opportunity Zone not receive the same courtesy?
