The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for the Evansville area to receive a light dusting of snow on Monday, 12/2.
Another upper air disturbance will impact the region on Monday with the potential of producing up to an inch of snow in parts of the Evansville area.
The storm will hit Southern Illinois in the morning and impact Vanderburgh and surrounding counties in the afternoon.
Be prepared for slick driving conditions, especially when temperatures are nearly freezing. Police reported multiple slide-offs and property damage accidents on I 69 Sunday morning.
