Great news for the taxpayers of this district. Wow, we finally may have a conservative voice elected to District 78 State rep seat. Long time coming.
Sean,
We went to high school together and while our views could not be more opposed I wish you luck. I just have two questions: 1. If you succeed in eliminating the business personal property tax, how would you replace the revenue that our city and area of the state will lose? 2. Do you believe that RTW has been an effective measure in brining jobs to Indiana and if it hasn’t how long will you allow this law to stay on the books?
It looks to me like the Southern Indiana GOP is fragmenting. This shattering is going to make this year’s primary for the “Bloody 8th” really bloody for their team.
Jesus…..
Is HE running, too?
I know Sean and while we dont always agree on every issue, i know he will work hard to bring a balanced, principled, TRUE conservative perspective to all issues. I think he is going to make a fine state rep. I only hope all the Republican PCs grasp this opportunity to try something different and drag our Party back to a place we can build from.
Good luck, Sean. If you win this caucus vote, I’ll help you all I can in the fall.
I hope to God this young man stays away from Wayne Payke. I guarantee that he doesn’t need to take any of Wayne’s left wing political advice.
Good luck Sean.
Ralph Edwards :
Help me big guy. Tell me what my “left wing political advice” is. I do not remember any.

If selected, I plan to do everything possible to protect the lives, liberties, and each individual person’s pursuit of happiness within the great State of Indiana and weigh each decision on the constitutional merits as the oath rightly dictates. There are a number of issues that are also near and dear to me as a small business owner like eliminating the business personal property tax which Governor Pence is aiming to do and that Suzanne had been surveying constituents about.
As we lead up to January 4th, I would certainly appreciate your prayers and I thank all of you who have made this possible, and particularly my wife in encouraging me to do this.
Sincerely,
Sean Selby
