BREAKING NEWS: STATE SENATE CANDIDATE BRADY HALL WINS “RIVER RUN” 10 MILE RACE

Brady Hall who is running for State Senate District 49, won a different type of race this Saturday- the 2017 River Run. The River Run is a 10-mile race which starts in Henderson, crosses the twin bridges, and finishes in downtown Evansville. Hall was a cross country and track standout at F.J. Reitz High School, which lead him to join the NCAA Division I cross country program at the University of Evansville.

When asked how the race went, Hall said “Running is just like everything else in life, if you are willing to put in the hard work, you will get results.” Hall won with a time of 57 minutes and 47 seconds. “I am just glad it didn’t pour down rain the whole time.” Hall added with a laugh. This could be the last year of the historic race due to a long term infrastructure project to update the bridges.
