And the crime rate is going down?
This city is not safe anymore. People are being gunned down on the streets by people in moving vehicles as if this was Chicago during the Gang wars of the 1920’s. Al Capone has nothing on Evansville, IN these days. Sad.
Our political appointed Chief of Police is clueless as to how to stop all the gang killings. He has no Report with the black or white community and that is what’s needed to solve these crimes. We need a witness protection program like the federal government has to protect eye witnesses who would come forward to testify against these gang thugs and put them where they belong. Behind bars in a Federal Prison. IS being a gang member an organized crime? And if so why can’t the Federal FBI get involved in these gang land type shootings and put these people in jail and clean up this town. Until that happens people are not going to be totally safe anymore. Better get you guns and permits and be ready when all hell breaks loose around you.
You mean “rapport” instead of “report.” It appears Evansville is returning to the “good old days” when it was considered the best place in the country to commit a murder and get away with it.
