At 10:36 PM on 12/26, Vanderburgh County Central Dispatch received a call reporting a fire at the location of Madeleine’s restaurant. Two employees were inside the business and reported the fire as being on the second floor and that everyone was evacuating. The first arriving Engine crew reported fire showing from the second floor. The fire was tapped out at 11:00.
At 05:24 AM there were reports of smoke and flames from same address.
No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. The fire is still under investigation as this is still an active fire scene.
