There were plenty of laughs to go around Saturday night as the Bob & Tom Comedy Show took over the Victory Theatre. The two-hour show included sets by Tim Bedore, Donnie Baker, and Drew Hastings, as each of the comics entertained an enthusiastic audience with their own unique take on the world, with topics ranging from squirrels to relationships to the difficulties of farming. Bob & Tom Show radio news director Kristi Lee acted as host and contributed her own unique observations from a female point of view. Fan interaction spilled from the stage to the lobby after the show, as Bedore, Baker, Hastings and Lee took time to sign autographs, take photos and swap more stories.
“The Bob & Tom Comedy Show brings in some great stand-up comedians with a range of humor that resonates with their Evansville fans,†said General Manager Ben Bolander. “Our goal is to provide a variety of comic entertainment that will appeal to all ages, and we’re looking forward to more shows like this one in the coming months.â€
The Victory Theatre continues a slate of upcoming events that include Don Williams October 17, and The Price is Right Live! stage show October 26, and the Evansville Philharmonic will present “Cirque de la Symphonie†November 2 and 3.
