The Brown Bag Performance Series is a free program offered to the community by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana. The series runs weekly from October through April at the Arts Council’s BSF Gallery, located at 318 Main Street in downtown Evansville. The Brown Bag Performance Series is every Wednesday at noon. Summer performances are once a month. It is encouraged to bring your lunch and a friend, and enjoy the free local performances. The Brown Bag Series is made possible in part by the Mesker Music Trust, managed by Fifth Third Investment Advisors. Below is the schedule for the remainder of 2016.Â
11/2/16 – Monte Skelton: Everyone’s favorite local jazz musician will return for his first Brown Bag performance of the season.
11/9/16 – Alfred Savia and Father Steve Lintzenich: A discussion on the upcoming Philharmonic presentation of the Bernstein Mass.
11/16/16 – Mary Stuckemeyer and Ed Lacy: Bassoon duets
11/30/16 – Mark Hatfield and Eulalie Wilson: piano duets to get everyone into the holiday spirit.
12/7/16 – Jane and Jeff Harmon: Our last 2016 performance will feature more holiday music.
