Arrest for Murder
UPDATE
Update, August 5th at 6:30 p.m.
Keymontai K. Madison was arrested this evening for his active warrant for murder.
Madison turned himself in to the Evansville Police Department. Madison has been booked into
the Vanderburgh County Confinement Center.
Previous Update
The victim has been identified by the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s office as 23-year-
old Kevion K. Mann. An autopsy was conducted on today’s date and concluded that Mann died
from a gunshot wound to the head.
25-year-old Mark A. Dow III was arrested this afternoon and was charged with assisting
a criminal. Dow has been booked into the Vanderburgh County Confinement Center.
A warrant for murder has been obtained for 22-year-old Keymontai K. Madison. Madison
is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

Original Summary
On August 4th at 3:00 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Southeast Martin
Luther King Boulevard in reference to shots fired. On scene officers located an adult male
victim with what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a
local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name and cause of
death.
At this time, no arrests have been made and this is an active investigation. Anyone who
