As many American families are struggling during the current inflationary

spiral of increasing prices, our House Of Representatives in Washington D.C. has decided to take a drastic action to help. 

The House of Representatives will soon announce they will be giving themselves, their staffers in Washington, and local district offices, along with the Capitol Police, free Peloton memberships using your taxpayer dollars

According to Fox News, “Beginning May 18, the government contract with fitness giant Peloton, under efforts from the House Center for Well-Being, will be offered to the estimated 10,000 people on staff working for the House of Representatives and about 2,300 Capitol Police officers.”

The contract terms will include an initial $10,000 payment to Peloton, plus an extra $10 per month charge for each member that is utilized. Potentially, if the estimated 10,000 staffers and 2,300 Capitol Police officers take advantage of this benefit, it could cost us, taxpayers, up to approximately $123,000 each month. That is potential $1,476,000 tax payers dollars per year. 

If you’re like me, I’m paying higher food cost, higher gas cost, higher everything cost, and I’m wondering why the people we elected who should be diligently working to solve the current inflationary problem, are off enjoying their free Peloton membership on our “dime”.

Enough is Enough! Contact your appropriate Indiana Representative and tell them “Are You Kidding Me”.
