1. OLD BUSINESS:

 

A. Approval to open bids for the CK Newsome Center Roof. (City Attorney)
B. Approval to revise Second Amendment to Agreement with the Community Action Program of Evansville & Vanderburgh County, Indiana, Inc. Home – Funded Rental Housing Project (M-18-MC-18-021) and City of Evansville (DMD)  (Kelley Coures, Executive Director, DMD)
C. Approval to ratify an agreement with Lawman Security Consulting and the City of Evansville (DMD) to provide security at Sartor Retreat House for housing homeless persons needing to isolate due to COVID-19. Will submit for reimbursement from FEMA due to COVID-19 Emergency in the amount of $30,000.00a month. (Kelley Coures)
D. Approval to ratify a resolution of the Board of Public Works Authorizing the submittal of a grant A authorizing METS and the MPO to apply for a $1.9 Million-dollar FTA Grant. This comes to you by with the recommendation of METS and the MPO application for public transit assistance for (METS) (Matthew Schriefer, AICP, Transportation Planner, MPO)
E. Approval of primary internet services with Spectron and the City Evansville/County Spectrum renegotiated a reduction for the cost of $9,000 a month over the life of the agreement with the City and County split the cost 50/50.  (Mark Uhrin, Chief Information Officer, Computer Services)
F. Approval to ratify a hold harmless agreement with the City of Evansville and Berry Global, Inc. (City Attorney)
G. Approval to ratify LPA Consulting Contract for INDOT DES No. 1801727 (Walnut Street Multi Modal Improvements, Section 2, from Weinbach Ave to Vann Ave). The Consulting Contract is with Lochmueller Group, Inc., in the amount of maximum of $678,000. (Chris Weil, P E, Asst City Engineer)
H. Approval to ratify the following Permits:  Encroachment Permits – E4120-141 thru 143, E4620-156, E4720-158, E41620-162.  Street Cut Permits – SC4620-144 thru 155, SC4620-157, SC41320-161.  Construction Permits – C4720-159, C4820-160. Description of previously Approved ROW Permits: E4120-141 Altstadt Hoffman Plumbing, Installation of yard drain to alleviate drainage issue at new home building site at 414 S Boeke. E4120-142 JDH Contracting, directional boring along the north side of Franklin Street to service 1019 West Franklin. E4120-143 Ansco LLC., installation of new utility pole and small cell equipment at 2650 Eastside Park Drive. E4620-156 Infrastructure Systems, replacement of water main in the Waggoner, Cass, Sweetser, and Conlin Avenue areas. E4720-158 EWSU, replacement of water main along Fares Avenue and Eichel Avenue. E41620-162 AT&T, installation of hand-holes and UG conduit along the south side of the street for services to 5010 Cass Avenue. SC4620-144 thru 155 CTL Engineering, (11) soil borings in the 4th and Court Street vicinity. SC4620-157 Deig Brothers, 400’ cut along Schrader Drive for water main installation. SC41320-161 Deig Brothers, Green Infrastructure project for Welborn Plaza (in Sixth Street). C4720-159 Environmental Management Consultants, soil borings for sampling at 101 SE 3rd, 100 SE 2nd, and 200-214 Walnut Street. C4820-160 Fifth and Main Properties LLC., equipment and work within the ROW for repairs to the exterior of the building at 420 Main Street.  Applicant is closing a portion of Main Street while work is completed and has submitted the necessary documents to the Safety Board (Chris Weil)
2. NEW BUSINESS:

 

A. Approval of First Amendment to Agreement with the City of Evansville (DMD) and the Community Action Program of Evansville (Prosperity Indiana) (Kelley Coures)
B. Approval of an agreement with the City of Evansville (DMD) and Advantix Development Corporation in the amount of $ $100,000.00 to construct a new home at 818 Madison Avenue. (Kelley Coures)
C. Approval of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Agreement with Aurora Inc. and the City of Evansville (DMD) in the amount of $2,500.00. (Kelley Coures)
D. Approval of Construction Permit for Troy Risk to work within the public right-of-way for installation of (2) soil gas ports in the green space, adjacent to the street, at 1413 Washington Avenue. (Chris Weil)
E. Approval to advertise Notice to Bidders for “Pedestrian Traffic Improvements-Court Street and Sixth Street Intersection”, Project Number 20-05-01, on May 1st and May 8th. (Chris Weil)
