Alyssa Blessinger Gives Verbal Commitment To Case Western Reserve University

Reitz Memorial student-athlete, Alyssa Blessinger (class of 2020), has given her verbal commitment to play volleyball at Case Western Reserve University.
Alyssa is entering her third year as a varsity starter with the Tigers, under the leadership of Andi Allford. Alyssa has helped lead her team to a combined record of 50-13 and 16-2 in conference play with a 2017 Sectional title.
Alyssa won the “Hustle†award voted on by her teammates in both 2016 and 2018. She has also been a varsity starter on the softball team and was awarded SIAC 1st team and Academic All-Conference in 2018.
Case Western Reserve volleyball team is led by Karen Farrell, who completed her 17th season as the head coach of the Spartans in 2018. Case Western is in the PAC conference, and finished the 2018 season with an 18-14 overall record and placed 7th in the UAA Championships.
Alyssa is excited to pursue her collegiate studies at Case Western and plans to major in biology leading to a post-grad in a PA program.
