We adopted a dog from VHS several years ago who had severe separation anxiety. We worked with him for quite a while basically making sure that someone was always with him. I must say that he is a wonderful dog now and can be left at home with our other dogs and behave perfectly. You will not regret the time spent helping this or any other dog learn and grow. The process makes both the dog and you better for it.
