Pirate is a female hamster! She’s roughly a year old and has actually been at the shelter awhile. Her sister, Panda, was recently adopted. She is called Pirate because she is missing one eye, but it doesn’t affect her overall health. Hamsters do need to be housed alone, but there are gently-used small animal items for sale at VHS if you don’t have one. Her adoption fee is just $5!
