Why is there an airplane in the same picture as the old WTCs?
These websites, emails and “debt clocks” are massively misleading.
They don’t include assets!! Good grief!
US household assets(money markets, CD’s, stocks, bonds real estate) are about $100T completely dwarfing this debt number. Added together US household NET WORTH is about $67T, and yes that includes the $14.7T in national debt. Yes much of that is in real estate, but US households have over $10T in money markets alone, and corps. have over $2T.
