IS IT TRUE we are hearing that Mayor Winnecke and his DMD Director are going to announce next week that they have just found another Builder/Developer/Investor that is ready to commit to build a new Downtown Evansville Hotel? …we hope that the Mayor and his DMD Director are working diligently in giving millions of hard earned tax dollars to anyone who asks without proper vetting? …we look forward to hearing who the Mayor has selected as the newest builder of the Downtown Hotel of 2015? …we can’t wait to hear what the Mayor and his hand picked DMD Director promised to give the new Downtown Hotel Developer without talking with the Evansville City Council or proper vetting?
IS IT TRUE we are wondering if HCW isn’t named to be the newest Downtown Hotel Developer for 2015 how much will the City and Evansville Redevelopment will have to pay them for past prep work they have done on the recently failed Downtown Hotel? …our ‘MOLES” tell us the City and Evansville Redevelopment Commission may have to pay HCW anywhere from $1 million to $2 million of our hard earned tax dollars for a failed project for past work preformed?
IS IT TRUE we hear if the City and the Mayors politically controlled Evansville Redevelopment Commission doesn’t decide to select HCW as the newest Hotel Developer for 2015 we hear that a highly regarded Hotel Developer and a well known investor may be interested in building a reasonable and affordable Downtown Hotel without very little public subsidies? …we are stunned to hear that the Mayor and his DMD Director haven’t sent out a new “Request for Proposal to Bid” to area builders and investors seeking their input for the new 2015 Downtown Hotel plans? …we say get ready for another Winnecke “Ready, Fire and Aim news conference that once again shall guarantee the City taxpayers that have finally have found someone that going to build a newly designed 2015 Hotel for Downtown Evansville? …we say , let the “Main Stream Media Circus” begin?
IS IT TRUE 2014 has ended, we have all overdosed on college football, eaten ourselves into a need for some exercise and the new year is upon us?…2015 is an election year in the City of Evansville and it looks like it may just be one for the record books?…as in 2011 the drama is high for an upcoming announcement by an upstart who may mount a challenge to the power of a presumably invincible incumbent?…in 2011 it was Rick Davis, who in his own way dispensed with the rumored “Mayor for Life”, Jonathan Weinzapfel and his hand picked successor Troy Tornatta in the Democrat primary?…in 2015, we will soon know if Gail Riecken will move forward in an attempt to unite the fractured Vanderburgh Democrat Party to seek the Office of the Mayor of Evansville?…there are even rumblings of a Libertarian candidate and an Independent candidate coming forward both of which could pick off some of the base of the major parties making things even more interesting?
IS IT TRUE if you do not live within the political boundaries of the City of Evansville, today is the second day that you are not eligible to serve on appointed boards or commissions controlled by the Mayor or the City Council?…it is safe to assume for the time being that there are at least 60 unfilled openings on various boards in need of a competent city dweller who is willing to fill them?…we shall soon learn who these new appointments are and how they are vetted?…we are betting the vetting process will require no more than a pulse and a nod and wink commitment to the appointer’s agenda?…that would be par for the course?…in nearly every other jurisdiction with appointed boards and commissions, there are openings announced and an interview process in place to choose the most qualified and willing candidates?…it is very much like being hired in places that have a planning process?…this is a good time for the City of Evansville to take a baby step into the modern world and establish a process to attract and vet candidates?…this should happen before a new herd of back room cronies are appointed?…it would be better to take a couple of months and do this right than to round up the regular suspects for political appointments?
IS IT TRUE the CCO was surprised to see the editorial board of the Courier & Press assert that Evansville once had a “bustling” convention business?…we are wondering exactly when that may have been the case because it has not been true for at least 30 years and maybe longer?…returning to the glory days of the past to a time when obsolete products and activities were the rage is about as sane as sending the economic development team out to attract a buggy whip factory?…the internet and meeting simulators have diminished the convention business to the point that conventions are now looked at with jaded eyes by boards of directors?…sure there are some die hard shows that have a primary focus on debauchery that are held in Las Vegas or some other major city, but the days of places like Evansville landing big national conventions are over?…we may get the “Bass Fishermen of Kentuckiana” or the Quilter’s Guild but small local gatherings that like to call themselves conventions is all we can expect?…It has often been said that “if you tell a lie loud enough and often enough people will think it is true”?…it seems as though the local mainstream paper has not only bought into the propaganda, they have become the instrument of delivery as well?
IS IT TRUE we have already asserted many times that a 250 room downtown hotel is a WANT by the elites and politicos and is not a NEED for anyone?…we stand by our assertion?…we will know when the hotel becomes a NEED when some private investment group feels a NEED to put one there without a public handout?…until then it is nothing more than a political payback for campaign contributions and votes?
IS IT TRUE that the CCO reaffirms our commitment to seek out what is wrong and to expose it in hopes that someone with power, authority, and money will fix it?…we offer a quote from this writers friend Elon Musk to support our way of doing things?…we recognize that it does take a person that seeks out the knowledge of what is wrong and solves these problems through scientific discovery followed by implementation to make real progress become reality?…here is what Elon has to say about it?
“You want to be extra rigorous about making the best possible thing you can. Find everything that’s wrong with it and fix it. Seek negative feedback, particularly from friends.†– Elon Musk

CCO can you come up with a formal total of what’s already been spent (wasted) on the downtown hotel fiasco since the exec was demolished?
I’m wondering if the $1 -2 million figure quoted above includes or is in addition to the nearly $1 million “free sample” of taxpayers’ money that Winnie already slipped HCW. The public had better brace itself for an onslaught of flim-flams with the Poop trying to enhance the pathetic record he is going to have to run on.
My Dear EB…
Please remember it is an election year and Winnie must be recycling the donor list…so do not expect any due diligence activity on the ERC nor the DMD…every project at the DMD = $ = Winnecke coffers..math made easy…
Simply speaking the outfit in Branson if proper due diligence was performed it would have been evident that their liquidity and debt levels would have been brought into suspect. Regardless what anybody says, Weinzapfel had a deal struck for a 220 room hotel but IN-BED-Ed wasn’t going to stand for it. Why are the moles indicating IN-BED-Ed is wearing out the door frames at the DMD. He indicated his reason to step down from the DMD was retirement…if anyone believe this well “its only a cold sore”…Like a pin setter he had em standing tall and left with his bowling ball in hand!!!
Wow, never thought IN-BED-Ed was much of a bowler…but guess when $ are on the lanes practice makes perfect.
New Years Prediction: the McCurdy luxury condos will be completed and Mesker Amphitheater reopened, before the downtown Hotel is built.

“it is safe to assume for the time being that there are at least 60 unfilled openings on various boards in need of a competent city dweller who is willing to fill them?…”
Is there some type of master list showing all the various boards and commissions, and/or a list of openings?
Dear DB…call the Civic Center and ask to speak with the City Clerk….they should have the listing.. of course one would think you can go on the City Website to discover.
Those nods and winks have happened. No vetting. They have a pulse and are ready to follow. The Mayor’s office has already made confirmation calls. New year, same old stuff.
Another Hotel Developer/Builder has been found and stepped up less than a month after the year long last relationship melted into ruin? We don’t even know the financial damage done from the first failed project. So Winnecke went from “we are starting construction next week” to “its a dead project due to over budget costs” to “we found another developer to give millions of dollars to” all in 3 1/2 weeks time? You have got to be kidding me.
Evansville has lost its credibility with this Mayor. He is Evansvilles greatest mistake and greatest fraud. The last Mayoral elections wasn’t an election at all. It was an auction.
It should be enough to wake up the dead. Winnecke stumbled into office under the most vile of circumstances, the beneficiary of the very worst of political machinations, and proceeded to act like he had a mandate to spend our money. He is an absolute joke.
It is odd that they are ready to reload so quickly. Sort of confirms they knew the latest failure, #4 I believe, was tanking long ago.
Local Personality Kelly Coures has never doubted a new hotel is coming (taking the opportunity to show fealty to Ole Gnat and his many bosses:
“I am 100 percent confident we will have a convention hotel adjacent to the Old National Events Plaza and the Ford Center”.
Somebody should alert the EPA that we’re apparently not as broke as our very untruthful mayor told them we are.
Psst, Eco 101 Microeconomics
Something for the local “personalities” –> http://www.oswego.edu/~atri/e101ch910.html
He has learned a lot from watching local democrats operate. Liberal democrats claim to be conservative to win local elections, but local democrats vote for them because it’s an approved lie. If we can only get the republicans to think the same way we’ll have more winners. Republicans set too high a standard for their candidates. Republicans need to allow their candidates the leeway to tell big lies like the democrats do. Republicans need to allow their candidates to approve of abortion, but act different when in office. Democrats are allowed to join and be members of hates groups like the naacp, now, league of women voters, Emily, black caucus, and groups of others but Republicans are held to a higher standard of conduct. Winnecke did not stumble into office, he won by a decent margin. He was duly elected by both democrats and republicans, he was the choice of both party leaders and a MAJORITY of high level local democrat elected politicians, to include the current duly elected sheriff. The union and business leaders supported him both financially and very vocally. They thought he was best for Evansville and as far as we all know he may well be. If they support him again, he will win again, he has proven he can keep the cat in the bag. Gail will only get the support of the pantsuit mafia.
The Poop did in fact stumble into office. He makes a living off people like you.
Off me. Not. I took the attempted homestead exemption theft personally. I let it stand for all else. There were 2 candidates and the democrats followed the orders of their handlers and voted accordingly. Probably the same ones who voted twice for Weinzapfel.
Can’t argue with any of that, I pretty much completely agree. What happened to Rick Davis was the ugliest thing I’ve seen in local politics that wasn’t done under cover of night, armed guard, and bolted doors. No one should forget Winnecke’s active participation in trying to swing with the Homestead exemption. He even said it wasn’t his ‘finest moment’ (after he got caught).
CCO, no mention of the latest republican hypocritical move? The deregulation and anti tax party is rolling out their plan to tax and regulate e cigarettes.
I sure hope President Obama is enjoying his taxpayer funded Hawaiian vacation:
http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obamas-dine-restaurant-charging-500000-membership_822640.html
Yeah, he’s the first president to go on vacation.
I thought Camp David was set aside for Presidential vacations,,,,if they don’t want to use it anymore we should sell it.
Did you make that suggestion when Dubya went to Crawford and Reagan went to California? I bet not. It’s really “uppity” of this POTUS to go to the state he grew up in, though, isn’t it?
My post applied across the board,,,notice I said THEY. Back Off !
Elkaybe, nice try. Reagan went to his own ranch in California. Dubya went to his own ranch in Texas. Obama could go to his own $2 million mansion in Chicago that a felon helped him buy. But nooooo. Obama’s house isn’t good enough for royalty like the Obamas. Obama and his family go on very, very expensive vacations that we pay for.

LKB they hate seeing “those people” enjoy anything, like a vacation for instance.
@Ghost! It appears I struck a nerve with 1cb. When they start yelling, you know they got a glimpse of truth they didn’t like. Class envy is an ugly thing.
Shouldn’t he be in Kenya or Indonesia?
I don’t have a thing against any elected Commander and Chief that’s elected too that job, where they head to relax is the secret services headache, not the publics.
Listing to all the BS sported on this stupid little blog sometimes is some good entertainment. Where any President goes, the ranch, the sea side Kennebunkport what ever complex chosen, big deal. The main thing is who ever holds the post comes back to Washington healthy and ready to work.
You people bitching about a American Presidents vacation time or a point on a map that is secured for todays extremes need to go soak your thick heads. Geez what a load of crap, gees what next? God forbid some fools would give your kind command of the greatest human battle forces on Earth, God forbid, you fools can’t even deal with someone’s vacation choices. What a load of dumbasses, can’t believe it, WAIT ! Your from the Evansville Indiana area , So I guess, I could.
I concur completely. The POTUS needs a chance to refresh as much as anyone. He has visited my area 3 times in the past year and stays exactly a mile from my home. It is no secret that I disagree with some of his policies, but it still makes the hair on my arms stand up with pride to see AF1 land or takeoff from my home airport.
I figured POV was a birther but up until now didn’t have confirmation.
@pov, cb1, & JB:
Did you whine about this? I’m betting not.
http://www.politicususa.com/2013/06/14/cost-obamas
I didn’t either. I don’t begrudge any POTUS a chance at some R&R. If Mrs. Obama went on the safari Laura Bush did, you’d be calling for armed insurrection.
THIS is the 2015’s first paragraph (January 2, 2015) of the top article in the WALL STREET JOURNAL today:
“The strengthening U.S. economy enters 2015
as the fittest of all industrialized nations, but
the question is whether that muscle can help
yank the rest of the world out of its doldrums.”
When you’re President, you get blamed for the economy, or you get credit. Six years in Obama’s United States is the top performing economy in the world. On the vacation thing, I’m sure he knows that and is thinking “Hey Joe Biden, suck on this.”
(C’mon, that was funny….)
It use to bother me until I realized that the less he works the better for us.
It is not easy to find, but on the City of Evansville/Vanderburgh County joint site there is a place where the various Boards and Commissions can be found
http://evansville.in.gov/index.aspx?page=36
The pages states as follows:
Thank you for your interest in our community’s boards and commissions. Some boards are City of Evansville-only, some are joint City/County boards, and some are Vanderburgh County-only.
The Mayor, the City Council, the Vanderburgh County Commissioners and Vanderburgh County Council make appointments to more than 70 boards, commissions and task forces with many areas of interest, including business and economic development, land planning, parks and recreation, public health, public safety, and more.
If you are interested in serving on a board, please email your resume, curriculum vitae or a list of your qualifications, along with which boards interest you, to boards@evansville.in.gov.
The reason I post that is because the page states that appointments are made to more than “70 boards, commissions and task forces”, yet the list on the page only climbs to 67. So where is the “more than 70” comment leading to?

You nailed it when you called the last election an auction, and I agree that the Poop is our greatest mistake. He’s the culmination of a whole string of mistakes that wound up occupying that office. As for the fraud part, I doubt he is bright enough to figure out how to “take” the public on his own. He’s just carrying on the shameful tradition begun by several of his predecessors. Winnie is the “fall guy” who will go to prison if we ever get justice, but his owners and handlers call the shots. I think he’s delusional enough to believe whatever Carol and the cabal tell him.
That was meant as a reply to “Nobody’s Fool”. Need that “edit” option!!
They’re cranking him up again. Sending him back into action. Oh boy.

Hotel,
Councilman Adams made a big to-do a while back that all future Public Works projects would have a city-representative who would report regularly to the City Council/the public. Where in the world is that person for the Hotel ? Where in the world is that city-representative for Johnson Controls ?
Let’s face it: the City Council had no oversight whatsoever on the Ford Center, and this was Adams’ way of saying “we’ll do better”. The Council proceeded to vote 9-0 in favor on both Johnson Controls and Hotel # 4 (and on Hotel, $ 20 MIllion public subsidy with no vetting).
Come on Council, defend yourself. I believe your utter lack of oversight is indefensible.
With all the standing infrastructure problems still firmly in place, to assume that somehow the logistical valuation would change in 3.5 weeks, is plain flat out ludicrous. The prospective value of future convention activity in downtown Evansville realistically, cannot meet an honest “cross benefit analysis” for the citizens revenue base on that certain location. You people just won’t learn, use your outbound growth pathways to enhance the inner value of your community with real commerce that takes place everyday.
Better more defined logistical values for the overall metro then a scheduled convention hotel might have a prayers change in hell of driving a “short profit” somewhere in that cities outdated and under maintained inner city infrastructure. Its logistical value doesn’t support the junk properties that’s in place there now.
You still must bring the combined sewers up too date as well as do something about the outdate utility values in that dumpy old downtown, when compared to a few mile’s out, the intrusive cost brought by those crumby utility balances foot shoots anyone’s relative margin in end point profitability . That’s not a projection, its a guaranteed percentage that continues to eat everyone’s logistical profitability in your old downtown Evansville. Do the math on cost per square foot of usable space on HVAC alone. When one tosses in sewer and water, the next thing heard is a huge sucking sound, and if its raining hard enough that won’t be the drainage, its the vacuum sucking away your profit margins .
That town and the metro need to focus on real growth, those things are planned and executed by Standard evaluation and scientific forethought.
Visions don’t come to into being overnight, and planning is done in step dynamics per vision with relative inclusion to the benefits of an overall metro plan.
A lost focus there will bring “more” excessive whoa to your cities funding availabilities if you keep ignoring it for patronage pushed fluff.
That’s cut and dried, and, with every Combined Sewer Overflow its soaked again and awaiting another drying cycle, only dollars into infrastructure will dry that mess up for the long term.

Cost-Benefit Analysis ( Per Investopedia )
DEFINITION OF ‘COST-BENEFIT ANALYSIS’
A process by which business decisions are analyzed. The benefits of a given situation or business-related action are summed and then the costs associated with taking that action are subtracted. Some consultants or analysts also build the model to put a dollar value on intangible items, such as the benefits and costs associated with living in a certain town. Most analysts will also factor opportunity cost into such equations.
INVESTOPEDIA EXPLAINS ‘COST-BENEFIT ANALYSIS’
Prior to erecting a new plant or taking on a new project, prudent managers will conduct a cost-benefit analysis as a means of evaluating all of the potential costs and revenues that may be generated if the project is completed. The outcome of the analysis will determine whether the project is financially feasible, or if another project should be pursued.
IIT…”…we look forward to hearing who the Mayor has selected as the newest builder of the Downtown Hotel of 2015? …we can’t wait to hear what the Mayor and his hand picked DMD Director promised to give the new Downtown Hotel Developer without talking with the Evansville City Council or proper vetting?”

And the beat goes on, and the beat goes on, drums keep pounding rhythm to the brain, La de da de de, la de da de da.
Welcome to another day in Evansville. Where fast food might be your last food.
PAK: So how many people does he direct at the DMD? And, do they all reside inside your cities limits. (ie: new city council ordinance.) If not? By direction he should direct them too the exit door. First card on the table. Looks like the whole schabang needs a deserved “well looky here” from all the new mulled over”picked out’s” on the commissions and boards committees and such. One things for sure, they need to get the citizens $20 million back under the common councils budget control again, then let the fun begin.
The first four hotel deals were proven boners, so restart the process from day one in 2015 Good grief, this time throw some vetting, valuation and revenue base cross-benefit analysis viability into the process.
Speaking of fast food, Taco Bell on Vann&Covert could well be your last. Crime is moving east at a fast pace. I think we will get a new hotel next year, the CC just has to figure out how to pay off the players and make it look good. I remember when they were building the new jail and how the cost escalated with the change in the make up of the county commissioners. We had an honest republican controlled commission on track to build a new jail for 28 Million, we had an election, democrats took over and the same jail jumped to 35 Million. I have no doubt if a democrats was mayor the CC would have voted whatever money necessary to build a 5 star hotel next to the arena. Nothing but local democrat politics. There’s also the possibility that the hotel will not be built until after the elections, depending on the democrat strategy.
Crime isn’t “moving” to the Covert and Vann area. It’s been very much at home there for fifteen years or longer, thanks to the slumlord-run apartments that used to be called Savannah Gardens.
One of the tenets of project management is that after a project has failed, there needs to be an assessment completed, and a list of corrective actions prepared so that the same errors are not made on future projects.
With this being the FOURTH FAILURE for a hotel, there does need to be a strenuous review completed. Trying to jump right back in without having even examined what went wrong on this most recent folly suggests there is more at play than just getting a “bustling convention business” back in play. How can you proceed without a plan ? Unless there is an investor/developer who is doing this as a 100% private money deal, we need a coroner’s report on the last failed deal before anything else happens.
What’s the rush ? City Council: you showed up poorly last time. Stick to your guns. Make the City do a ‘cradle-to-grave’ on the failed effort, and explain how they will mitigate those items IF there is a fifth round. All of this should be done BEFORE Council ever hears a proposal.
Before this City begins another effort in the construction of this hotel the public should be demanding to know why this HCW outfit failed to perform… weren’t these clowns Winnceke’s darlings if you recall the first ground breaking ceremony where Winnecke stated he developed a great friendship with Rick Huffman main dude of HCW. The overages of the construction budget originally stated at 42 million must be disclosed why? so this community knows the reality of this nonsense. Basic knowledge if you ask one particular lady to dance while others stand around her and she refuses to kick up her heals and the next lady in the crowd will most likely tell you to go to hell. So my dear Winnie better have some good dancin shoes.
The biggest majority of the crap that goes on involving cronyism and these high stakes construction projects would NEVER HAPPEN if this town had a newspaper!
Copy/Paste from Dec 31, 2014. This is a somewhat long read but well worth reading. Some of these are well known and other parts are not.

This idiot canâ€t even balance the city’s check books…oh yes he will say “I inherited a mess†but he also inherited 4.4 in the General Fund, 3.3 in the Park Fund and is spending like a sailor on a weekend pass. According to the October general fund, he is overdrawn but 17 MILLION and 1.2 in the Park Fund, HAS TAKEN A LOAN AGAINST THE DECEMBER 2014 FINAL PAYMENT OF PROPERTY TAXES IN THE AMOUNT OF 14.5 MILLION…so, let see his track record deficit spending on an average of $700,000 per month since he has been occupying room 303.
Let’s start with EARHCARE, 5 million was earmarked to an unvetted and before the Council even approved the insanity (5-4 vote), his puppet Luke Yeager, chairman of the bond bank and so happens to be a resident of Newburgh, loaned these clowns $200,000. Thanks to the efforts of Councilwoman Brinkerhoff-Riley, the deal was reversed. Thanks you Stephanie for the hard work!!!
Of course, here comes the Johnson Control deal which the contract signed under the Weinzapfel Adm was so altered that the IURC had to re-approve the deal and of course the contract placed the cost of damage caused by Johnson Control to be laid upon US!!!
So, next comes the hotel….there was 4 yes 4 ground breaking ceremonies…what the hell is this…bring in some second rate outfit, unvetted not the council’s fault…remember Friend’s demand for financial information and the hell that was raised in the wake. Two words come to mind: incompetent and dishonesty..
Now, his DMD rushes in and buys up D-Patrick giving them 8.4 million and gives them tax phase ins and uses grant funds to tear down the houses at D-Pat’s new locate (41 & Walnut) while Bill Fluty has the old property assessed at 3 + million…Crony Capitalism at it BEST….and now we hear that the IU Med project is 37th out 37th…the old cart before the house…
Then come the north main street deal, Torroni’s allegedly cuts a deal to purchase the old Integra Bank Branch and here comes DMD and saids,â€oh no let us purchase the property and you can use for parking…what is that word again: CRONY CAPITALISM….but, like Hollywood, the script keeps on coming….the old CVS building on North Main was on the market for nearly 3 years purchase price by DMD nearly $500,000…What is that word again?..CRONY CAPITALISM….
Finally, but under this Winnecke administration, nothing is final under Mrs. Riecken is sworn in…
Thank you, Sunnysideup!
Winnecke and his people (Mosby and Weaver count here as well) could never order their eggs Sunny side up because they like shady things.
I am very concerned about the City’s finances having eroded so precipitously that we are now forced to basically FACTOR OUR ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE (i.e., get a Bank Line of Credit against future property tax receipts) in order to operate.
How did all of the City’s Cash Reserves disappear; and Where did the Reserves go ? This sounds like paying the minimum on the credit card, and using a home equity line for the minimum payment.
Factoring like vetting was in 2010, a brand new term being introduced into local government’s vocabulary. I bet 90% of the elected officials are unfamiliar with this term or what it means.
The latest cottage industry?
http://www.businessfactors.com/invoice-factoring/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_keyword=%2Baccount%20%2Breceivable%20%2Bfactoring&utm_campaign=Indianapolis
And by the way, you may get the old run-around when trying to discover where all the “reserves” went, but I can tell you how they are planning to address the situation.
Bill Fluty has been passing out increases in property assessments of $12K and more like they are tic tacs. He is using the “neighborhood” factor as his justification for the increases.
The question that arises is: are comparable homes in your neighborhood currently selling for more or less over then they have over the last 7 years? It seems that many people have had to sell for less than an independent appraisal said the property was worth.
What does that do to your neighborhood factor Bill?
Election night:
Winnecke’s dad said he knew he was the man for the job from day one. (When he repeatedly tried and failed to build a hotel in the special needs nursery?)
“We’ve been excited about all but one negative aspect,†Ralph Winnecke said. “I’m too damn old to get a city job.†(Don’t bet on it, hang in there, stranger things are happening)
Waving to the crowd in a presidential manner, Winnecke’s glasses glimmered in the spotlight. (Knew it — to the manor born)
“This is a humbling feeling and it’s the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done in my life”. (…About those ‘rewards’…)
“It’s time to make Evansville a world-class city.†(Doing a great job, chicken dancers everywhere want to come here)
Said he was relieved the campaign is over.
“I’m ready for a party,†he said. (A party pooper?)
~~ partially excerpted from The Shield
Here’s some more spooned horseshit—-> Of course it does outline some problems , and how did you attack those?
Psst, by bailing out the politicos that hung on to long, and let social progression over run their deteriorating downtown property balances.
So now your present plan is to keep bailing water for the inept? Well isn’t it? Not a good plan, and is exactly why your downtown “still isn’t worth dirt.”
Do enjoy, its typical to the standard bearers you’ve elected today , as well. AAaaHahahahahaaaa ! – Everybody knows that, wu’ll ok, but did you know —> http://evansvilleapc.com/modules/showdocument.aspx?documentid=14699
Some friends of mine in the trades just told me that one of the union bosses says that Evansville isn’t ready for a woman mayor. I don’t think he’s speaking for anybody but himself, but I can’t think of many women that are officers in any of the big Locals. I hope the union people will come out and tell us if their local has a problem with Gail because she is a woman. I think she’ll get a lot of backing from regular union members because she fought RTW and most working women are going to vote for her too.
Well, I guess that male chauvinist POS can cast his one vote for Winnecke. No board of directors would tolerate such an opinion from a CEO. Chauvinism and discrimination only have a home in unions and elected officials.
How about that Big Ten victory with Ohio State beating Alamba? Loved that game.
Alabama that is
