city-countyobserver.com and community-observer.com will be migrating to a new dedicated server based in Chicago.
This new server is not only geographically closer, but has more processing power and bandwidth. The entire machine is dedicated only to city-countyobserver.com and community-observer.com. Expect to load the website at lightning speed after the update is complete.
The server is also capable of running a new “Daily Local News Email” service which we will be releasing more information on in the coming weeks.
Down time is expected to begin around 9pm CST
The site may remain down for 12-24 hours
